- Power cycle your DSL/Cable Modem
- Power cycle your router (e.g. Linksys, D-Link, Netgear)
- Reboot your computer
- Check physical cable connections to router, modem and your computer.
- Determine if the problem is local or global (only your computer or your entire company).
- Verify that the server is on.
- Determine if network switch is on.
